Two positions are now available on MSSA's Management Board (MANCOM).

The pressure of work gets to us all, and sometimes, with changing circumstances, unforeseen circumstances force us to give up those things that we really enjoy.

So it is that both Sean Barry and Steph Craig and Sean Barry have both unfortunately resigned from their posts.

This means that there are two positions available on the 15 person committee.

The two positions that have become available are:

  • Figure Gaming Representative, and
  • National Schools Director.
The duties of the Figure Gaming Representative are to administer figure gaming, to chair the Board of Control, as well as to serve as the National Team Manager for such discipline.

The duties of the National Schools Director are to administer gaming at school level, to chair the Board of Control, as well as to serve as the National Team Manager for school teams. Only an Educator may hold this position.

With the two positions becoming available, MSSA's MANCOM is empowered under the constitution to co-opt two people to serve out the remaining months until the Annual General Meeting to be held in December 2017 where new office bearers for these two positions shall be elected.

All queries in regard to the above should be directed to the General secretary at mindsportssa@iafrica.com.
