Esports is a growing sport, not only in South Africa, but throughout the world. With such growth, the infrastucture behind the sport is growing as clubs are coming into existence, national federations are being constitutionalised and the international federation, the International Esports Federation (IESF) acquires new members every single year.

There is even talk that esports will soon be included in the Olympic Games, and why not, through IESF, esports has been included in the Asian Games, and has also been recognised by TAFISA.

It is all quite frentic and fast paced.

Thus players and clubs that get involved now are getting involved at 'ground zero' and will be able to reap the benefits as the market explodes.

Hoërskool Warmbad has taken such a bold step and affiliated to Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA). By doing so, the school has ensured itself as being on the cutting edge and enabling its learners to participate in an exciting world that is unfolding before our very eyes.

But it is not surprising that Hoërskool Warmbad should take such a leap forward, the school prides itself on enabling its learners and developing its learners to be the best that they can be.

Hoërskool Warmbad will also be participating in MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships on 10 February 2018 for the very first time.

MSSA welcomes Hoërskool Warmbad into the fold and hopes that the school shall have a long and fruitful association.
